If that doesn't work then Im not sure what will. But if you have tried that you can try wiping the disk down with rubbing alcohol or toothpaste. Once you have downloaded the game on to your computer you shouldn't have to put the disk in anymore.
If ya scratch the Shiney side it can probably be fixed. If you Scratch the Back Side of the CD it is gone. Wal MArt sells a CD Scratch repair and there are places that have CD Polisher Machines.
